Romantic relationships among youth: Trends, Issues and Impact

Through this study, group has attempted to understand the nature of romantic relationships among young people and the infleunce of social factors on these alliances. The findings of this study point towards the influence of social constructs such as religion, caste, class and economic status in determining the formation and success of romantic relationships. It recognises the role of social media in bringing people together. Interestingly, practicality emerged as a popular factor while defining relationships. Respondents, both girls and boys, cited trust and consent as the two most essential requirements in a relationship.
