About the Subject:
These researchers started a film club where they screened socially conscious cinema and initiated a discourse over what they viewed. In addition they also wanted to research on how their other colleagues view films as a medium. For that search, they conducted interviews.

Challenges & Learnings:
For these folks who have never seen any other films but main stream Bollywood movies, getting an opportunity to view international films from various countries like Iran, Japan, China, Germany was a real treat and education of sort. For interviews they had to leave their comfort zone, go out and meet many people, again giving them an exposure not known to them previously.

Conclusion:
Most of the youth in the R-Urban sector does have any exposure and hence knowledge of films and documentaries which are outside of the mainstream cinema. They view this medium only as a medium of entertainment and can not extend their view any further. They are most reluctant to explore alternative cinema.

End Product:
They created a very good diary based upon their experiences.
