Open House

March 3rd, 2010 by admin

YFP Open Houses serve as a platform where youth fellows can discuss their research topics, learn about various research methods that their peers are adopting and share their progress in the data collection process. Both the Youth Fellowship team and the larger PUKAR team facilitate these meetings. Open Houses thus serve as a learning platform for research fellows and facilitate the research process. It also serves the youth fellows in terms of enhancing their communication skills and knowledge base. To this end several resource persons are invited to these sessions. Open houses create a space where issues related to citizenship, nation building and social change can be discussed. The unique aspect of these sessions is that they are entirely controlled and organized by youth themselves.
