March 2004 workshop:

The aim of this workshop was to discuss three main endeavours of the Gender & Space project. These included the gender audit, pedagogic initiatives and architectural mapping.

This workshop was organized to reflect on three aspects of the Gender & Space project, namely 1) methodologies & strategies; 2) aims of each of these; and 3) debates being addressed & generated.

The idea was to generate critical comments and input from resource persons which would help shape the direction of our research.

Bishakha Datta, Devika Mahadevan, Himanshu Burte, Kalpana Sharma, Laskhmi Lingam, Lysa John, Madhusree Datta, Mouleshri Vyas, Mustansir Dalwi, Nandita Gandhi, Neela Dabir, Neera Adarkar, Nirupa Banger, Pankaj Joshi, Quaid Doongerwala, Sandhya Sawant, Seemanthini Dhuru, Sheela Patel, Shefali Srinivas, and Sujata Khandekar.

• March 2005 workshop:

This workshop was organized to present some of the findings of the work completed so far by the project and to seek comments and suggestions, particularly in regard to the advocacy component of the project.Resource persons:
Amrita Shah, Fleur D\’Souza, Geeta Seshu, Haseena Khan, Nandita Gandhi, Sandhya Srinivasan, Sonal Shukla.

• January 2006 workshop:

The workshop was held over three days to carry out an intensive critical review of the written work of the project.

Resource persons:
George Jose, Kalpana Sharma, Lakshmi Lingam, Mary John, Mustansir Dalvi, Rahul Srivastava, and Tejaswini Niranjana.

• May 2006 workshop:

This was our final review workshop on the project and it was conducted in the presence of IDPAD representative Dr Sanchita Datta.
